The funeral for Neva Frances Troutman, 90, will be 10:30 AM today at the Collinsville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Larry Wilson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henninger – Allen Funeral Home.

She was born February 20, 1913 at Jetmore, Kansas, to Edward S. and Nellie Zuli Babcock, and died Wednesday, May 21, 2003, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

The family moved to Sumner County, Kansas, in 1915, where she attended school, graduating from Wellington, Kansas, high school. She taught at several one – room schools in Sumner County before working with the Civil Service Commission in Washington, D. C.

She married Lyman A Troutman April 15, 1943. They made their home in Collinsville, moving to Enid in 1994. She was a member of Collinsville United Methodist Church until she moved her membership to New Hope United Methodist Church.

Surviving are one son, Charles Troutman of St. Louis; a daughter, Frances Shuey of Federal Way, Washington; one granddaughter; one great – granddaughter; and one sister, Virginia Messenger of Enid.
