Roger Charles Steed
August 21, 1947 - February 1, 2025
Roger Charles Steed, 77, a beloved resident of Claremore, OK, sadly left our world on February 1st, 2025, after a life richly lived in service and kindness. Known for his unconditional love and desire to help those around him in any way that he can. He was a man of wisdom, integrity, and most importantly a leader. He was always terrific, no matter what season he was in. As he always said, "what you focus on expands". Let our memories of him focus on the light, truth, and joy he brought in all of our lives.
Roger was survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Judy Rotramel- Steed, his daughter Sarah Steed, and grandchildren Cameron and Makila Steed. He leaves behind brothers and sisters-in-law, who loved and admired him deeply. Among those are Paul and Donna Steed and Spud and Robin Steed. He leaves behind several nieces and nephews, who cherished the impact he had on their lives. He leaves behind many great and wonderful friends that will forever hold the positive memories of him in their lives.
Roger was known for his integrity and heart to build others up. The stories and memories that people have of him are ones of encouragement and life changing moments due to him being a light and guide in their lives. Towards the end of his life, Roger focused on finding ways to help others through their own personal challenges and to help them become all they could be. He was a man of many words of wisdom and solutions that constantly changed the world for the better. We remember Roger not for the way he left this earth, but how he impacted our lives in the best ways. He will forever remain in our hearts.
Graveside services will be 1:00, Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK with Dr. Tim Prock officiating.
