He married Beverly Carlile on July 18, 1958. He was a hardworking husband and father. He spent his entire working life as a land surveyor and built a successful company, DL Riddle Surveying. He retired at age 74. In his younger years he enjoyed vacationing in Lake City, Colorado with his family and friends. He liked to trout fish and ride dirt bikes up in the mountains. He also spent many weekends camping and fishing at Greenleaf State Park. As he got older he found an interest in antique cars and started a collection. He was a member of the Tulsa Model A club, Oklahoma City Model A club, NE Oklahoma Model A club and the Tulsa Classic Thunderbird club. While in these clubs he took many trips, drove in parades and even went up Pikes Peak in his Model A. He was also a member of the Collinsville Masonic Lodge where he participated in activities with his wife Beverly.
Delbert left his earthly home on March 11, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Janna Riddle, his wife of 40 years, Beverly Ann Riddle and one sister Margena Bennett.
He is survived by one brother, Mike Riddle
and his wife Becky from Grandfield, OK and his brother and sister-in-law
Charles and Jennine Carlile of Collinsville. He is also survived by his
four children and their spouses: Randy Riddle and Sandy of Collinsville,
Debi Whisenhunt and Donnie of Collinsville, Deanna Park of Collinsville,
Missy DeLozier and Keith of Collinsville, his 14 grandchildren, Amanda
Havens, Rachel Kemper, Lee Riddle, Breanna Creech, Whitney Wilson,
Taylor Kite, KyLee Koscheski, Ky Park, Geoffrey Park, McKenzie Park,
Loren Park, Paige Bargas, Rylee DeLozier and Kamri DeLozier and his 23
great grandchildren.
