Dale Allen Rowan
March 5, 1976 - October 13, 2025

A graveside service to celebrate and remember the life of Dale Allen Rowan will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville, OK. Dale passed away in Tulsa on Monday, October 13, 2025. He was 49 years of age.

Born in Springfield, Missouri on March 5, 1976, to Franklin Dale and Karen Kathleen (McCleland) Rowan. Dale was raised and educated in Skiatook, OK, and graduated from Skiatook High School. He continued his education for a short time at Tulsa Community College. On March 29, 2014, in Ozark Missouri, Dale married the love of his life Melinda Renae Warren. Their marriage was gifted with 7 children. Dale provided for his family working at Lowes for over 16 years.

A man that loved his family and made sure their needs were always met. Dale often would go to work while not feeling well and his reason was, "I must provide for my family." He was a huge NASCAR fan. He and his dad had season tickets and attended the inaugural race in Texas. Mark Martin was his favorite driver. According to his family he was most definitely a "car freak", he attended the drag races, raced remote control race cars as well as having his own Nissan 350Z. As his family started to get bigger, Dale did finally concede that he needed to get a family car.

Dale had other interests as well. He was a huge history buff which carried over in his building of World War II models of airplanes, ships and tanks. He even researched German and Japanese pilots for this same period. Dale enjoyed watching hockey and football. His home was filled with several freshwater aquariums that brought him countless hours of enjoyment. When it came to his black and white Chihuahua, affectionately called his "Oreo Dog", it too made his smile brighter. No story about Dale would be complete without mentioning the bond between him and his mother. Dale, even as a grown man, looked forward to the times he could sit beside his mother and let her rub his hair. It was something Karen did from the time Dale was born. That act of love brought Dale more comfort throughout his life than anyone could possibly imagine.

A man that has left a legacy that will live on in the lives of his family and friends. Dale is survived by his wife Melinda Renae, children, Carson, Johanna, Jonah, and River Rowan, mother and father, Karen and Dale Rowan, mother-in-law, Glenda Burnley and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. Dale was preceded in death by his children, Ryleigh, Kennedy and Noah Rowan, father-in-law, Alan Burnley, grandmother, Agnes McCleland.
