He is
preceded in death by his four sisters, four brothers, and one
infant great granddaughter.
Frank was a lifelong resident of Collinsville. He served in the
United States Army and is a World War II veteran. He married
Thida Lee Blue on September 3, 1946. Together, they have four
children. After forty nine years, he retired from Yuba Heat in
1989.
Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to
everyone he knew. He was very involved with his grandkids and
was the biggest cheerleader at all of their sporting events. He
loved working in his vegetable garden every year, and was an
active member at St. Therese Catholic Church. He will be truly
missed.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Thida, their children;
Janice Winton and husband Gary; Robert Hoffman and wife Barbara;
David Hoffman and wife Caryn; Vonda Tucker and husband Brian,
all residents of Collinsville. He is also survived by eight
grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Frank was preceded
in death by his parents, 8 siblings, and a great granddaughter.
Visitation for Frank will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at
Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and
Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral
Home. The Rosary service will be Thursday April 21st at 7:00
p.m., and the funeral service Friday April 22nd at 11:00 a.m.
Both will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church in
Collinsville.
Interment will follow at Ridgelawn Cemetery in Collinsville
