Patsy Nadine Cherry
April 3, 1939 - May 24, 2025

Patsy Cherry of Collinsville passed away Saturday, May 24th 2025 at the age of 86.

Patsy was born April 3, 1939 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Louis and Beulah Adams. She married Frank Cherry on July 20, 1957, and they remained married for 66 years until Frank passed in 2024.

Patsy worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield and then became a stay-at-home mom. In 1978 she became the secretary at Maranatha Baptist Temple where she remained for 44 years.

Patsy enjoyed going on vacations, skiing, her church, and most of all spending time with her family.

Patsy is survived by her son Clay Cherry and wife Kathleen; sister Wanda Maynard; brother Marvin Adams; 5 grandchildren, Ashley Cherry and Jerome, Brandon Cherry and Gabby, Trevor Cherry and Shelby, Lindsay Brown and Scott, and Noah Dawson and Caila; 12 great grandchildren, Jaeden Smith, Blake Cherry, Avery Kinney, Kaeden Cherry, Ella Brown, Alice Brown, Owen Frank Brown, Olivia Dawson, Hallie Jo Dawson, Hollis Prather, Hadleigh Prather, and Sergio Silva.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Frank; daughter Pamela Nadine Cherry Dawson; granddaughter Leigha Dawson; parents Louis and Beulah Adams; and sister Helen Cole.

Visitation will be noon to 8:00 pm Thursday, May 29, 2025 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home. The family will be present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Maranatha Baptist Temple with Pastor Andy Plunk officiating. Interment will follow at the Ridgelawn Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.
