Ronnie was born on November 18, 1966, in Tulsa, Oklahoma; the son of Jackie and Cheryl (Pettigrew) McLearan. Ronnie grew up in Bixby where he completed his education. After high school Ronnie began working with his father building ornamental staircases and hand rails. In 1990, Ronnie started working in the warehouse at Zephyr Metal in Tulsa. After a short time in the warehouse and the closure of the facilities he gained employment at Taylor Metals then later at Willbros and lastly for HIS. On May 23, 2015, Ronnie was united in marriage to Phyllis Jean Dillingham in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Ronnie worked as a shipping and receiving clerk until 2019, when he was forced to retire due to medical reasons. Cooking out with friends and family while at the lake was always enjoyable times for Ronnie. Telling stories and jokes were things you could always count on him doing. However, Ronnie always liked to argue because he enjoyed proving others wrong. Watching tv shows about cars, racing and OU sports were some of Ronnie’s favorite pastimes.

Ronnie passed from this life on December 30, 2020 at the age of 54 in Cleveland, OK.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis of the home, parents Jackie and Cheryl McLearan of Cleveland, Oklahoma; three sons R.J, Corey, Cody; three daughters Brittaney, Shelby, Julie; two brothers Jackie Dean McLearan, Robert Adrian McLearan, fourteen grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Alma and Louie Collins and Elsie and Ocey McLearan.
