Don Underwood, age 86, passed away at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at The Journey Home. The family requests private family services. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Donovan J. Underwood was born November 12, 1929 in Bartlesville to Russell and Vivian Beatrice (Groff) Underwood. Don was the Mail Department Manager for Phillips Petroleum Company before retiring with 33 years of dedicated service. Don led a very interesting and full life and died as he lived, everyone's friend.

Don is survived by his three cousins; John, Leslie and Roger Hammett and special friends, Jennifer and Allan Brown.

Don was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Helen Adcock Underwood.

The family would like to thank Adams PARC and the Journey Home for the wonderful and compassionate care they provided, our dear Don, on his journey home. Thanks also goes out to Dr. Jarrell and his staff at Eldercare for their great concern and quality care these last few years.
