Gerry Benear, 70, of Tulsa, passed away June 26, 1997. She was a native of Enid, Oklahoma, born August 6, 1926 in Tonkawa, Oklahoma to W. G. (Buck) and Louie Thompson. She was a graduate of Enid high school. She received her Masters Degree from University of Oklahoma. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa.

She is survived by her husband, John Benear; daughter and son – in – law, Robyn and Larry Ewing; son and daughter – in – law, John B. II and Jennifer Benear; four grandchildren; Lauren and Christian Ewing, Amelie and Susan Benear.

The service was at 2 PM Monday, June 30, 1997 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.

Interment was at Memorial Park Cemetery.
