Linda Lou (Twist) Kons-Studie
August 30, 1953 - February 13, 2025
Funeral services for Linda Lou (Twist) Kons-Studie, 71, of Turley, OK, were held Friday, February 21, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Chapel in Sperry, OK. Phil Johnson officiated, and burial was in Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Skiatook, OK. Casket bearers were Buddy Kons, Carrie Kons, Jason Kons, Cameron Bales-Steward, Cody Helton and Makayla Poffenberger. Honorary Casket bearers were Crystal Steward, Kristian Kons, and Abby Helton.
Linda was born August 30, 1953, in Bartlesville, OK, to Verl Lewis Twist, Sr. and Evelyn Viola (Nail) Twist. She passed away February 13, 2025, in Turley, OK.
As a young lady, Linda attended McClain High School and later graduated from Beauty College. In 1977, she started her family with Wayne "Red" Kons. Together, they had two children, Crystal and Buddy. She was a devoted housewife for many years while the kids were younger. She loved gardening and had the most beautiful flower beds a yard could have. Linda also enjoyed taking care of the small farm the family had. She enjoyed listening to country music, playing cards and entertaining family and friend in the "add-on". She loved spending her summer at their lake lot with her family. As her children grew older, Linda began working outside the home. She worked as a housekeeper at a Tulsa hospital and doctor's offices, often working alongside her family. After Red's passing, she met and married Bobby Studie. They enjoyed visiting flea markets, watching NASCAR, and going to casinos together. Linda cherished spending time with her family. She was a collector of many items. She also loved watching soap operas and chatting on the phone with friends and family. Additionally, Linda enjoyed crocheting and working on various puzzles.
She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Steward; son, Buddy Kons and wife, Carrie; grandchildren, Cameron Bales-Steward, and Jason Kons and wife, Kristian; great-grandson, Axel Kons; bonus grandchildren, Cody Helton and wife, Abby and Makayla Poffenberger; sisters, Carolyn Bledsaw, Connie Lemons, and Verna Morris; brothers, Verl Lewis Twist, Jr., and Charles E. Twist and wife, Olga; sister-in-law, Cindy Twist; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Wayne "Red" Kons; second husband, Bobby Studie; parents, Verl and Evelyn Twist; and brother, Tommy Twist.
Arrangements and services were entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home, Sperry.
