Obit for Howard
Howard Don Etter, son of Donald Paul and Joy Ann (Vernon) Etter was born March 11, 1955 in Tulsa, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on November 12, 2012 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 57 years, 8 months and 1 day.
He loved deer hunting with his brother Steve and nephews. He also enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He loved his mother Joy dearly. He enjoyed walking throughout the woods, downtown and telling stories. He admired and loved his truck "Ole Blue". Donny had a big heart and loved dearly.
Donny was preceded in death by his mother Joy and his nephew Steven Paul Etter II.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his daughters; Lauren Etter of Jenks, OK, and Starla Etter of Washington State, his father; Donald Paul Etter of Stilwell, OK, 3 grandchildren; Alex, Shawn and Josh all of Jenks, OK. 2 brothers; Steven Paul Etter and wife Patti of Broken Arrow, OK, Kenneth Mark Etter of Tulsa, OK, 3 sisters; Paula Faye Cunningham of Salina, OK, Angela Joy Etter of Texarkana, TX, Lisa Marie Borden and husband Larry of Marshall, TX, 10 nieces and nephews; Tonya Faye Cassillas and husband Ricky of Skiatook, OK, Denise Marie Gaynor and husband Josh of Jenks, OK, Amanda Dawn King and husband Roger of Catoosa, Ok, Jonathan Roger Cunningham and wife Carrie of Coffeyville, OK, Holly Lynn Bro and husband Israel of Inola, OK, John Paul Etter, Christopher Cole Simmons both of Tulsa, OK, Ashley Joy Vinsant and husband Timothy of Royce City, TX, Kennith Leroy Etter of Tulsa, OK, Nikki Etter of Missouri. 11 great nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Graveside services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Skiatook, OK with Bro. Paul Etter officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
