Linda Lee (Dalton) (Rick) Maddox
Services were held for Linda Lee Maddox, 53, at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at the Leonard and Marker Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Msgr. Patrick Gaalaas. Services were under the care of Mike Marker of Leonard and Marker Funeral Home of Bixby.
Linda Lee Dalton Rick Maddox was born on December 8, 1954, in Chicago, Ill., to Leon W. and Mary (Ullmer) Dalton.
She died October 8, 2008 at her home in Bixby, Okla. Though not brought up to be Catholic, Linda converted to Catholicism by the age of 17. After becoming injured in 1997, she retired her career as a title closer with Guaranty Abstract Company of Tulsa.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents; Bernard and Dorothy Ullmer.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Roy G. Maddox whom she married on January 20, 1995, in Las Vegas, Nev.; her son, Gregory Joseph Rick of Columbus, Ohio; her parents; her "Mom," Phyllis Rick of Tulsa; four sisters, Marilyn Hawkins of Rogers, Ark., Darlene Wallace of Tulsa, Lorrie Christenson of Rogers, Ark., and Genny Shyull of Tulsa as well as several other relatives and good friends.
