Bessie Jane Jones
January 25, 1937 - August 8, 2025
Pryor

Bessie Jane Jones, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, departed this world on August 8, 2025, in Pryor, Oklahoma, at the age of 88. Born on January 25, 1937, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Bessie lived a life that was rich in love, laughter, and creativity. As a skilled welder for Dunlap Manufacturing, she dedicated herself to her craft with determination and pride.

Bessie's nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession; she was deeply committed to her family. She is survived by her cherished sons: Terry and wife Jesse Jones of Oklahoma, Glen and wife Debra Jones of Afton, Oklahoma, Don Jones of Grove, Oklahoma, and Ricky and wife Donna Jones from Salina, Oklahoma. She was also a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Her interests brought joy not only to herself but also to those around her. Bessie had a unique passion for crochet, crafting beautiful pieces. She delighted in collecting clocks. And had a love for porcelain dolls, and glassware, filling her home with treasures that told stories of her life's journey.

Bessie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Jones, as well as her parents, Warren and Pearl Cash. She also mourned the loss of her brother, Ugene, Brian Jones and Tanya Lynn, who left this world far too soon. Their memories remained close to her heart, forever shaping the love and kindness she shared during her lifetime.

Bessie Jane Jones will be remembered not only for her contributions to her family but also for the indelible mark she left on everyone fortunate enough to know her. The warmth of her spirit will linger in the hearts of those she loved, and her legacy of love and creativity will continue to inspire future generations.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Shipman's Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 1204 N. E. 1st St., Pryor, Oklahoma.
