Liz was born on September 16, 1952 in
Houston, Texas to Charles M. and Nell S. (Eppstein)
Allen.
Liz's family moved to Bartlesville, OK several
years later. She attended Bartlesville Schools,
where she was a member of the swim and golf
teams. Liz graduated from College High in 1970
and later went to work for Phillips 66 until
1986. In 1981 she was blessed by the birth of
her daughter, Mindy Anne.
She was a homemaker but more importantly she was
a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She met her soul mate, Matthew "Matt" Hartloper
and they were married in Miami, Oklahoma on
November 7, 2003. They shared 16 memorable years
together with almost 12 years as husband and
wife.
Liz's passions were her family, animals, being
at the lake, and cheering on the OSU Cowboys.
She is survived by her loving and caring
husband, Matt Hartloper of Collinsville;
daughter, Mindy Walthall and husband, Kevin of
Stillwater; 2 grandchildren, Cortland and Grahm
Walthall; brother, William P. Allen and wife,
Mary Frances of Claremore; and nephews, Phillip
Allen of Jenks and David McMahan of Denver,
Colorado.
Liz is preceded in death by her loving
parents.
Memorial Services will be held 3:00 PM Monday,
June 22, 2015 in Floral Haven Funeral Home
Chapel.
