Rev. Billy R. Brummett, age 79 of Copan, OK, left this earth to go Home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 17, 2016.
He was born in Jenks, Oklahoma to
Elsie and Oscar Brummett.
Bill was married to Shirley Sixkiller in 1955 at the First Assembly of God in
Jenks, Oklahoma and they have four children.
Rev. Brummett served his Lord in
ministry from 1952 to 2014.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley; daughter Sharon
Steinfeldt and her husband Mark of Austin, Texas, son B.J. and his wife DeAnna
of Copan, Ok., son Gary and his wife Vickie of Belton, Texas and son Doyle and
wife Lisa of Bartlesville, Okla. He also leaves a brother Clyde and wife Doris
Jean of Gentry, Ark., and a sister Geri Moss and husband Wayne of Keifer, Okla.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces
and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his Mom, Dad, 2 sisters and 4
brothers.
The Brummett family will be receiving guests at the Stumpff Funeral Home from 6
P.M. until 8 P.M. on Tuesday, July 19th.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the
Northpoint Assembly of God in Dewey with Rev. Doyle Brummett presiding and
assisted by Rev. Darryl Wootton. Interment will be at the Floral Haven in Broken
Arrow.
Pallbearers will include Chris Brummett, Thor Steinfeldt, Chase Brummett, Tyler
Brummett, Tony Cochran, Isaac Galan, Wayne Delso and James Bagwell.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established to the Journey Home,
3406 S.E. Kentucky, Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 74006.
