Belinda became a Christian at the age of 6 and faithfully served the Lord for the rest of her life. She was salutatorian of her Senior Class and graduated from Owasso High School in 1959. Belinda attended Oklahoma Baptist University majoring in English and minoring in Spanish. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1964. Belinda married Ralph E. McNeill on September 19, 1964, established their home in Oklahoma City, and had two daughters, Mariesa and Barbara. She was a gifted pianist and piano teacher. She served as church pianist for many churches in the Oklahoma City area including Plainview Baptist Church, Mayfair Baptist Church and Britton Baptist Church. Belinda began her teaching career in 1988 and taught High School English and Spanish until her retirement in 2007.
Belinda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; her brothers, Elmer Cooper and Eldon Cooper; in-laws, Steve and Mabel McNeill; brothers-in-law, Shang McNeill and Joe Howry; and nephew, Keith Howry.She is survived by her daughters, Mariesa McNeill of Oklahoma
City and Barbara McNeill of Tulsa; sisters-in-law, Peggy Cooper, Linda
Cooper and Joyce Howry; and her special caregiver, Rosa Ruiz.
