Graveside rites were held for Johnnie S. Noyes, 64, at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, 2008, in the Bixby Cemetery officiated by The Rev. Dave Kargas. Services were in the care of Leonard and Marker Funeral Home of Bixby.
Mr. Noyes was born Sept. 25, 1944, in Tulsa, Okla., to Johnnie and Ruby (Williams) Noyes. He died Oct. 6, 2008 ,in Tulsa, Okla. He had lived in this area for over 40 years. He retired in 2005 from American Airlines where he worked many years as a mechanic and machinist. He is survived by his wife, Paula (Claypool) Noyes, whom he married on Nov. 17, 1961, in Carthage, Mo. He is also survived by two sons, Robert Steven Noyes and wife Teresa, of Jenks and Brian Keith Noyes of Broken Arrow; two sisters, Brenda Briscoe of Sapulpa and Trisha Stites of Tulsa; six grandchildren, Brittany JoAnn, Tanner, Tara, Trevor, Hanna and Abigail Noyes as well as several other relatives and good friends.
