John S. Parker, 93, of Grandfield, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005 at Wichita Falls, Texas.
Services will be Friday, Jan. 21, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist church, Grandfield, with Dr. Bob Burch, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Grandfield Memorial Cemetery, under the direction of Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lee, of the home; one son, Larry G. and wife Charla, of Alva; one daughter, Phyllis Colyer and husband Kenneth of Grandfield; one brother, Virgil and wife Lydia, of Avard; three sisters, Esther Reiman of Alva; Marvel Bixler and husband Dean of Waynoka; Pat Wharton and husband Bob of Alva; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
John was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold, Raymond and Robert.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 101 E. 3rd St., Granfield, OK 73546 or the Grandfield Ambulance fund, 223 S. Main, Grandfield, OK 73546.
