Jeffrey Michael Martire, 49, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at the BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
The son of Pasquale Jeffrey Martire and Vicki Mae (Birdsill) Stelzer, Jeffrey was born November 1, 1972 at the Southbay Hospital in Torrance, California. He moved to Guymon from Northridge, California with his family in May 1974. He attended the Guymon school system.
Jeffrey worked as a welder and machinist at Midwest Machine & Welding in Guymon. He had lived in Liberal, recently returning to Guymon.
He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Robert Martire on July 23, 1995; grandparents: Robert “Bob” Birdsill, Kenneth & Betty Stelzer, and Mike & Dottie Martire; and uncles, Steven, Robbie and Tim Birdsill.
Survivors include his daughter, Karissa Suarez and husband, Victor of Livermore, California; son and daughter, Ryan and Isabella and their mother, Ann Martire all of Liberal; five grandchildren: Aleah, Lylah, Amayah, Arianah and Priscilla Suarez; his mother, Vicki and Kenny Stelzer of Guymon; his dad, Jeff and Frances Martire of San Bernadino; five brothers and sisters: Angie Martire, Mandy & husband, Randy Coble, Nick Martire, Michael Martire and Jonathan Stelzer, all of Guymon; his grandmother, Edith Birdsill of Guymon; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family will greet friends at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home on Monday evening, October 10th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday morning, October 11that 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Father Udayakumar Kandula, celebrant. A family inurnment will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery at a later date.
