Martha Zarate
February 27, 1949 - June 7, 2023

Maria Martha Zarate, 74, of Guymon, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.
The daughter of Francisco Martinez and Maria Munoz, she was born February 27, 1949 in Santa Ana Zac. Mexico.
Martha and Jesus Zarate were married in Santa Clara Dur. Mexico on December 14, 1969. The family moved to Guymon in 1996. She had retired with Seaboard Foods, and was a homemaker and member of the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jesus Zarate of the home; six children: Alberto Zarate and wife, Sylvia of Guymon, Alma Lucia Zarate and husband, Juan Galindo of Clayton, North Carolina, Emy Valenzuela and husband, Nazario of Dallas, Texas, Ana Favela of Guymon, Alejandra Alvarez and husband Jaime of Guymon, and Jesus Zarate and wife, Yolanda of Salt Lake City, Utah; 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one sister, Bertha Martinez of Santa Clara, Dgo, Mexico.
Family visitation will be Sunday, June 11th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, with a Rosary service following at 8:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church Funeral mass will be Monday afternoon, June 12th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Very Rev. Christopher Brashears, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
