Jerry Mark Wing, 65, well-known Guymon businessman, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The son of Jack and Patricia (Costner) Wing, he was born on October 9, 1955 in Guymon. Jerry attended Guymon schools, graduating with the Class of 1974, he then attended college at West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas. Jerry owned and operated numerous, successful businesses, including NAPA Auto Parts and Engine Machine Specialists.
He was married to Rebecca I. “Becky” Lee on July 19, 1974; Together they had two boys, Dustin and John David. Jerry and Becky took great pride in the lives of their precious nieces, Andrylnn and Jillian, who they loved dearly. Becky preceded Jerry in death on March 31, 2006.
Jerry and Jeani Quigley were united in marriage in Guymon on August 3, 2012. Jerry and Jeani enjoyed many things together. Jerry had a love for anything with an engine, airplanes, jeeps, dune buggies, and motorcycles. He loved to travel with his wife and spend time with his grandchildren. He was a man of great faith. Jerry and Jeani are members of Victory Center where his love for Christ continued to grow. Jerry had the kindest, biggest heart and loved people well. He always strived to make sure everyone around him was taken care of. He was a man full of integrity. Jerry was an avid adventurer and lived life to the absolute fullest. Jerry was humble, kind, generous, and full of grace.
Jerry is also preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Patricia Wing, sister, Dianna Garrison, and brother, Patrick Wing.
Survivors include his wife, Jeani Wing of the home; Children: Dustin Wing and wife, Lynette of Plano, Texas, and John David Wing of Guymon, Keith Smallwood and wife, Abigail of Frisco, Texas, and Megan Davidson and husband, Christopher of Guymon. Survivors also include nine grandchildren: Camryn, Cole, Jack, Estella, Alden, Jackson, Julianne, Ryan and Addisyn; Two Sisters, Carolyn Sears and husband, Greg of Norman, Oklahoma, and Lisa Walker and husband, Glynn of Abilene, Texas; and Brother-in-law, Greg Lee of Guymon.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday morning, September 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Victory Center with Pastor Charlie Mendenhall officiating. Interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon.
The Wing family will greet friends Tuesday evening, September 28, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Memorials in memory of Jerry may be given to Oklahoma Panhandle Partners. Memorials will be accepted at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942
