Gary Burke Wadley

September 1, 1931 ~ August 20, 2005

Our beloved Gary Burke Wadley went home to be with his Lord on August 20, 2005, after a battle with cancer. He was born September 1, 1931, in Tyrone, OK, to Robert and Ferne Wadley. Gary lived in Guymon, OK, for many years and retired in Edmond, OK, in 2003.

Gary is survived by his wife of 54 years, Karlyne Southern Wadley; daughter Terri Lambert and husband, Raymond; son Courtney and wife, Pam; and son David and wife, Olivene. One son, Kirk, preceded him in death in 1975. There are five grandchildren: Brandon, Maegan, Nikki, Andrea and Nathan and seven great-grandchildren.

There will be two services: Faith Bible Church in Edmond at 600 N. Coltrane at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and First Baptist Church in Guymon at 2201 N. Lelia Street at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, with interment at Elmhurst Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of the Matthews Funeral Home, Edmond, OK.
