Ruben Sanchez, 67, of Guymon, passed away Sunday evening, December 26th, 2021 at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The son of Pablo Sanchez and Elvira Espinoza, he was born September 10, 1954 in Zacatecas, Mexico. He moved to Guymon from Chihuahua, Mexico in 1975. Ruben and Maria L. Delgadillo-Hernandez were united in marriage in November of 2003. Ruben was an operator in the oil field, retiring in 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Elvira (Espinoza) Sanchez, three brothers, Juan, Marcelo and Javier Sanchez and one grandson, Marcus Sanchez. Survivors include his wife, Maria Sanchez of the home, ten children: Edith Sanchez of El Reno, OK, Portalles Sanchez and wife, Nabora of Guymon, Moses Sanchez and wife, Alison of Oklahoma City, Edlyn Sanchez and husband, Sebastian Resendiz of El Reno, Adam Sanchez and wife, Jessica Martinez of Guymon, Javier Sanchez of Guymon, Nicolas Sanchez of Guymon, Cinthya Garcia of Denver, Pablo Herrera and wife, Lizet Romero of Guymon, and Berenice Herrera of Hutchinson, KS. Survivors also include four sisters, Rosa, Gloria, Irma and Alma all of Mexico, 31 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, evening, December 29th at 7:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday afternoon, December 30th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Father, Raul, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
