Betsy Pritchard, 76, of Hooker passed away Tuesday evening, March 7, 2023 at the Pioneer Manor in Hugoton, Kansas.
The daughter of J.C. “Chet” and Joye Faye (Matter) Glendinning, Betsy Sue was born July 10, 1946 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Betsy was raised in Guymon, where she attended school and graduated with the GHS Class of 1964.
Betsy and Roger Lee Pritchard were united in marriage on September 23, 1968 in Guymon. They made Hooker their home, where Betsy was an active homemaker and mother of Robbie and Lexi. The family also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in Colorado. Betsy owned and operated H & R Block in Guymon for several years, retiring in 2011.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Roger on April 13, 2022; her father, J.C. Glendinning; her mother, Joye Glendinning Watson; step-father, Dick Watson; brother, Kelley Glendinning and step-brother, Larry Joe Watson.
Survivors include her son, Robbie Pritchard and wife, Kenda of Denver, Colorado; her daughter, Lexi Rose and husband, Justin of Hooker; her five grandchildren: Keenan Cooper, Loryn and Jenna Rose, Macy Pritchard and Thaxton Boyd; her great granddaughter, Adalynn Pritchard; along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon with Jeremiah Mallard officiating.
