Robert Chuck McAnarney

Robert Chuck McAnarney, 67, formerly of Guymon, passed away Friday, November 5, 2021 at his home in Mutual, Oklahoma.
The son of Robert Hayes and Winifred Louise (Oyler) McAnarney, he was born March 21, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Chuck attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 1972, he then attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University, graduating in 1988. Chuck served with the campus police at the University of Oklahoma OKC health science center in 1974, Goodwell Chief of Police in 1983, Texas County Undersheriff from 1988 to 1998. He then served as a Special Agent with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation until his retirement in 2011.
Chuck and Audra Elton were united in marriage in Eureka Springs, Arkansas in October of 2006. They made their home in Mutual, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Winnie McAnarney, and son, Derrick Elton.
Survivors include his wife, Audra of the home; five children: Tracy Garverick of Colorado, Kelley Sexton of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Amanda McAnarney of Woodward, Oklahoma, Lacey Keeton of Blanchard, Oklahoma and Tiffany McAnarney of Dallas, Texas. Survivors also include his grandchildren: Holly, Tyson, Paetyn, Kolton, Raynz, Shay, Lola and Chase.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday morning, November 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home with Pastor Janet Fitz officiating. Family inurnment will be in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
