Loreatta Louise King-Eaton



Loreatta “Rita” Louise King-Eaton, 85, of Guymon, OK passed away Monday, November 7, 2022 with family in her home.
She enjoyed going to square dances and visiting with friends for coffee at McDonald’s. Rita had a great love for her dog, Tiny, who came to live with her after the passing of her daughter, Revonda in 2013.
Rita married Gerald Nix in 1957 and had three children; Gerry, Lyndal and Revonda. Rita worked for several years as a legal secretary for Andy Anderson in Tribune, Kansas and returned to Guymon in November 1990.
Rita married Clarence Eaton on March 17, 2012. He preceded her in death on December 30, 2017.
In addition to her husband, Clarence, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Revonda Nix, one sister, Gracie Norris and one brother, Leon King.
Survivors include two sons - Gerry Nix and wife Judy of Tribune, KS; Lyndal Nix and wife Karen of Aubrey, TX; several grandchildren including - Justin Nix and girlfriend Morgan of Wichita, KS; step-children - Katrina Atkin and Kevin Eaton of Amarillo, TX; Kefty Eaton of Albuquerque, NM; sisters and brother - Sandra Hicks of Grand Junction, CO, and Vonciele Taylor William King of Guymon; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends - James Blagg, June Furnish, Kelly Beasley, Eric Moore and Exie Hays.
Friends and family can come for viewing at the funeral home on Friday, November 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon, November 12th at 2:00 p.m. at the Bunch - Roberts Chapel with her nephew, Jason King officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
