Fermin Hinojosa, 77, passed away Saturday morning, July 2, 2022 in El Paso, Texas.
The son of Juan Hinojosa Zepeda and Juana Rodriguez Rosales, he was born February 14, 1945 in Durango, Mexico. Fermin moved from Mexico to Texhoma, Oklahoma in 1978. He was a rancher with Freeman Family Ranch for many years.
Survivors include seven children and grandchildren: Juanita Hinojosa de Silva and husband, Gregorio of Santa Teresa, New Mexico and children, Marcy Silva-Bailey and husband, Josh, and Katie Silva, Roberto Hinojosa and wife, Martha of Guymon, and children, Levy and Irvin Hinojosa, Cecilia Hinojosa-Bobadilla and husband, Jose of Dumas, Texas and children, Cristian Bobadilla and wife, Bryanna, Lizzet Bobadilla and Saraya Bobadilla, Sergio Hinojosa and wife, Sally of Phoenix, Arizona and children Sergio, Niqo, Noa Hinojosa, and step-daughter, Eliana Hernandez, Abel Hinojosa and wife, Lina Cordero of Sterling City, Texas and children, Vanessa Hinojosa and husband, Christian Vega, Daniela Hinojosa and husband, Jose Vega, Jasmine Hinojosa, Allison Hinojosa and Gabriella Hinojosa, Estela Hinojosa of El Paso and son Andrew Bobadilla, Jose Hinojosa and wife, Allice of North Carolina and children, Jose Hinojosa Jr. and Alicia Hinojosa. Survivors also include four great grandchildren, Natalia, Alina, Isabella and Liliana, two sisters, Maura Hinojosa de Carrillo and Felipa Hinojosa de Solis, and three brothers, Juan Hinojosa, Francisco Hinojosa and Clemente Hinojosa.
Rosary services will be Thursday evening, July 7th at 7:00 p.m. at Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Friday, July 8th at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with Father John J. Mejia, celebrant. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
