Woodward, Okla. — Guymon, Oklahoma – Wanda Davidson, 69, passed away very early Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
Wanda Lenore Miller was born on April 15, 1944 in Higgins, Texas to Dollie (Riley) and Thomas Miller. Wanda attended Bishop Grade School and graduated from Shattuck, Oklahoma High School. Wanda was united in marriage to George (Junior) Davidson on May 26, 1962 in Arnett, Oklahoma. Wanda and Junior worked and made their home in Guymon. Wanda worked for many years at First National Bank and City National Bank. She was a devoted wife and Mom, but she loved and adored her grandkids even more.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Junior Davidson; her daughter, Monica and husband, Jason Colpetzer of Hardesty, Oklahoma; son, Terry Davidson and wife, Cathy of Guymon; six grandchildren, Nikki and husband, Zach Hooks of Texhoma, Oklahoma; Chris Davidson of Guymon; Natasha and Michael Colpetzer of Hardesty; Skip Cox and wife, Desty of Plains, Kansas; Amber Cox of Guymon; and five great grandchildren, Tripp Hooks, Darrick and Taylon Doeschot; Remington and Gunner Cox; and her sister, Carol Barton; three brothers, Jerry Steinle and Jim Steinle, all of Higgins; and Frank Miller of Geary, Oklahoma; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Johnny Steinle.
Funeral services will be Friday morning, April 26th, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 2201 North Lelia, Guymon, with Rev. Gary Stone and Rev. Odie Nunley, officiating. Interment will be in Elmhurst Cemetery under the care of Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.
