Trista Jade (Wilson) Clark, 20, of Sulphur, Oklahoma, formerly of Guymon; passed away Sunday, July 20th, 2008 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County in Guymon.
The daughter of Pamela Dawn (Myers) Woodring she was born on July 3, 1988 in Liberal, Kansas.
Trista grew up in Guymon. She was a member of the Grace Southern Baptist Church. She attended the Guymon school system, and was active in several different sports. She moved to Sulphur following her sophomore year, and graduated from the Sulphur High School with the Class of 2007. Trista was elected homecoming queen her senior year in Sulphur. She was employed as a pharmaceutical technician at Wal-Mart in Sulphur.
Trista and Cody Lee Clark were united in marriage on July 19th, 2008 at the Grace Southern Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Dawn Woodring in 2003.
She is survived by her husband, Cody Clark of Sulphur; two brothers, Joshua and Jacob Hutchinson of Guymon; her grandparents, Loveta Carter of Guymon and Wayne and Dinah Myers of Goodwell, Oklahoma; her great grandmother, Ellen Myers of Springfield, Colorado; father and mother-in-law, Curtis and Tereasa Clark of Guymon; uncles and aunts: Warren and Kim Pieratt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Brandon and Tara Myers of Texhoma, Oklahoma, Wendy Caldwell of Goodwell, Oklahoma and Doak Myers of Guymon, and brother and sister-in-laws, Trevor and Jennifer Clark of Guymon and Lance and Ashley Childress of Edmond, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron Summers and Rev. Lance Burnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery. Services are under the care of the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.
A Trista Clark memorial has been established at the City National Bank and Trust. Memorials will be accepted at the CNB& Trust or the Bunch - Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1112, Guymon, Oklahoma 73942.
