Colby Lynn Behne, 35, of Yukon, Oklahoma, formerly of Guymon, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 16, 2022.
On March 26, 1986, Colby was born to Terry Behne and Karri (Sherrill) Long. Cassie quickly became his best friend. Colby attended school in Guymon, graduating with the Class of 2005. He moved to Yukon from Guymon in 2005 and worked as a landman in the Oil and Gas Industry.
With his infectious laughter and mischievous smile, Colby kept his family and friends entertained by his amusing stories. Colby was an avid sportsfan, and loved cheering on his Dallas Cowboys , Texas Rangers, and Dallas Mavericks-win or lose. Colby was a talented guitarist and enjoyed spending time in his home studio. Colby almost always spent the first day of dove season with his mom.
He is preceded in death by his father, Terry Behne, his sister, Cassandra Behne, his grandparents, Louis and Iola Behne and Dude Sherrill.
Survivors include his parents, Karri and Steve Long of Guymon, grandmother, Betty Sherrill of Guymon, step-sister, Lindsey Cryer and husband, K.W. of Edmond, step-brother, Jake Long and wife, Lottie also of Edmond, aunt, Jana Larson and husband, Brett of Rockwall, Texas, and uncle, Steve Sherrill of Guymon.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday morning, January 21, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Victory Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor David Player officiating. Interment will follow in the Elmhurst Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday January 20th between the hours of 2:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home.
