Bartlesville - Dorothy Rachel Grace, 89, of Bartlesville, passed away Saturday morning, August 28, 2021, at Bartlesville Assisted Living.
Dorothy was born January 19, 1932, at Fowler, Kansas to William David Gardner and Sophia Mae (Rader) Gardner. She married Roy Ellis Grace at Clayton, New Mexico in 1951. The couple were married 25 years until Roy's death in 1976. Dorothy later wed Tracy Minnick in 1980, and he preceded her in death February of 2016.
Dorothy had worked on the line for Beech Air Craft, during her younger years and loved sewing and her family.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Ricky Grace of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren, Tonja Simpson and husband, Jeremy of Urbana, Missouri and Kristi O'Kane and husband, Pat of Topeka, Kansas, and Jason Grace and Samantha Nitzel, both of Iowa; five nephews, David Keever and Bud Keever and wife, Connie, all of Bartlesville, Rev. Bill McLemore and wife, LeAnn of Springfield, Missouri, Bobby Carpenter and wife, Nikki of Liberal, Kansas and Bill Keever and wife, Emily of Phoenix, Arizona. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, William and Sophia Gardner; by two husbands, Roy Grace and Tracy Minnick and by two sisters, Nellie Keever and Ruby Schnoble.
Funeral services will be 10 am, Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy McLemore, officiating.
Graveside services will be 1pm, Friday, September 3, at Barden Cemetery, near Guymon, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Wednesday, 9am-5pm.
