Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 Mary Elizabeth [Sullivan] Tanner Funeral for Mary Elisabeth Sullivan-Tanner, 68, Lawton, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Comanche Nation Funeral Home Chapel with Dwight Tanner Jr. officiating. She went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, with her family by her side. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, Duncan, under direction of the funeral home. Mary was born July 18, 1946 in Pyote, Texas, to the Late Ervin and Sara Sullivan. She grew up in Corsicana, Texas, and after marriage moved to Lawton and made it her home raising her children alongside their father Dwight Tanner Sr. She owned and operated Classic's Paint and Body until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, family and friends and playing bingo. She is survived by her sons: Tim and wife Bobbie Jo Tanner, of the home, Dwight Jr. and wife Tally Tanner, Lawton, and Gwen Tanner, Lawton, daughter; Treba Pacheco, Lawton, grandchildren: Christopher, Monika, Brianna, Tyler, Tanna, and Timmy Jr. Tanner; Cassie, Jaylen, Gwenyth, Cecilia and Sage Tanner; Jessica, Wayne, E.J. and Justin Tanner; Leonard Pacheco, John Wesley Pacheco; six great-grandchildren; sisters: Florence Lee, Shirley Diaz; brothers: Sonny Sullivan, J.R. Sullivan, all of Texas; and best friend and sister in the Lord, Mary Barva. She was preceded in death by; her parents. |
