Sherry Ann Kidd Towell

July 28, 1958 - September 15, 2016

Sherry Ann Towell of Comanche, OK was born on July 28, 1958 to William Harold and Charolette Commilla Kidd in Santa Cruz, California. She passed away on Thursday, September 15th, at the age of 58.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, September 19th, at 10:00 A.M. at Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.
Family visitation is scheduled on Sunday, September 18th, from 4 to 6 P.M. at the funeral home. Sherry attended school in Duncan. She married Jimmy Lee Towell, Jr. on August 29, 1975 in Duncan. They raised five children - Melissa, Adam, Andrew, Christopher, and Nicolas. She was a homemaker who loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed going to garage sales, collecting valuables, listening to Michael Jackson, reading and making crafts.
Sherry is survived by her husband, Jimmy; 5 children, Melissa (Tracy) Jones of Comanche, Adam (Deborah Dalton) Towell of Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, Andrew (Lisa) Towell and Christopher Towell of Duncan, and Nicolas (Tonya) Towell of Comanche; 14 grandchildren, Kerci Jones, Kailee (Triston) Bailey of Duncan, Kolten Jones of Comanche, Gage, Jaden and Cooper Towell, Ryan, Samantha, Emily, Ethan, and Raylee Towell, Kloe, Bryce and Anabell Towell; 3 great-grandchildren, Aiden Porterfield, James Bailey, and Makenzi Bailey (who is scheduled to be born next month); grandmother, Marguerite Eason; mother, Charlotte Kidd; 2 brothers, Bill Kidd of Benedict, Kansas and Bobby Kidd of Duncan; 4 sisters, Valerie Kidd and Vonda Brines of Kansas, Gen Chains of Cleveland, OK, and Vicki Kidd of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death her father, William Harold Kidd, and an infant son, Andrew Lynn Towell.
