Juanita Williams McClennen

September 22, 1926 - September 3, 2016

Juanita (Williams) McClennen of Duncan, OK was born in Comanche on September 22, 1926 to T.B. and Donnie (Stallons) Williams. She passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Country Club Care with her faithful husband by her side.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7th, at 11:00 AM at the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Wilson officiating, assisted by Rev. Kathy Gibson. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
She graduated from Comanche High School and later obtained her LVN nursing license from OSU-Okmulgee. She began her nursing career at the Okmulgee Hospital in the nursery. She enjoyed crocheting afghans and shawls. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the First United Methodist Church.
She married Billie Elton McClennen on August 18, 1944. They had one daughter, Patricia Ann.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Billie; one daughter, Patricia Elkins of Houston, TX; one granddaughter, Whitney (Colin) Elkins-Hutten of Boulder, CO; one great-granddaughter, Avery Scarlet Hutten; one brother-in-law, Robert Davenport; two sisters-in-law, Dean McClennen and Lutie McClennen; and four nieces, Bobbi Williams, Debbie Whitt, Cathie Hladik, and Cynthia Peters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Joy Davenport; and son-in-law, Bill Elkins and niece Candy Bruner.
