Mary Ellen Crawford

April 14, 1925 - December 30, 2016

Mary Crawford, age 91 of Lexington, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016, surrounded by her family at home. Mary Ellen Kimbrell was born April 14, 1925 in Dustin, OK. Her parents were Jess and Vera (Crawford) Kimbrell. Mary grew up in Muskogee and attended school there. She married young, to Robert A. Medders and to this union, a son, Joe was born. Mary worked hard as a wife and mother to support her young family. She later met and married Olan Crawford, a Pentecostal Pastor, and they welcomed another son, Keith to their family. For many years, she worked on the assembly line for the Western Electric Telephone Company. When not working, Mary enjoyed fishing and hunting, and she loved traveling the country. She was a strong woman with great faith. She studied the Bible and led home bible studies for many years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed!
She was preceded in death by: Her parents and brothers and sisters.
Mary leaves behind: Her sons, Joe Medders and wife Diann of Lexington and Keith Crawford and wife Moi of Okla. City, OK; 4 grandchildren, Tandi Medders of Lexington, Joe Medders and wife Leeanna of Okla. City, Chad Medders and wife Kristie of Noble Sterling Crawford of Okla. City; 5 great grandchildren, Cierra Coffey, Isaac Medders, Austin Medders, Jaycob Medders and Zayne Medders; 1 great great, Javier Benford and a host of other family and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 2, 2016, at the Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Duncan.
