Joseph Edward "Eddie" Sanders

Funeral Services for Joseph Edward "Eddie" Sanders, 19, of Verden will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Verden First Baptist Church with Larry Hatfield and Lynn Walker officiating.

Joseph Edward Sanders was born August 19, 1985 in Lawton, Oklahoma, the son of Greg Sanders and Rhonda B. Taylor Baughman. He died Friday June 24, 2005 in Oklahoma City.

Eddie moved from Marlow to Verden when he was 12 years old where he attended Verden Public Schools and received his GED in May 2003. Eddie played T-ball when he was 4 years and later played High School baseball for the Verden Tigers. He enjoyed his time on the water, swimming, fishing, or going to Chickasha Lake. Eddie loved to listen to music and spend time with his many friends especially his younger sister Falecia.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandmother Marie Young "Grandma Red," his grandfather Joseph Edward Sanders "Papa Joe," Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother Marvin and Irene McCarley, Uncle Danny Sanders, Uncle Ronnie Young, and Friend Eddie Potts.

Survivors include his Mother and stepfather Rhonda and Wesley Baughman of Chickasha, Father and stepmother Greg and Julie Sanders of Marlow, siblings, Falecia, Stephanie and Garrett, Chris, Jamie and M'Kenzie, Grandmother, Carline Whislar, Aunt Barbara and Uncle Frank Rinheart, Aunt Donna and Uncle Joe Start, Uncle Robert and Aunt Reaha Young, Uncle John and Aunt Carolyn Young, Uncle Donald Reynolds, Aunt and Uncle Trisha and Van Bingaman, Uncle Rick Baughman, Uncle Jimmy Sanders, Uncle George and Aunt Garnet Stahl, Aunt Trisha, and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Interment will be in the Marlow Cemetery under the direction of Ferguson Funeral Home.
