Peggy Louise [Lindsey ] Pendley
Graveside services for Peggy Louise Pendley, 75, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Marlow Cemetery with Rev. Dale Johnson officiating.
Peggy Louise Pendley died Monday, April 18, 2005 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. She was born Sunday, July 21, 1929 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma to the late James Raymond and Rose Dell [Webb] Lindsey.
She was married to the late Olen Doyle Pendley on December 4, 1947 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death March 3, 1995.
Peggy grew up in Rush Springs and graduated from Rush Springs High School in 1947. She was a former Alex resident. She lived in Lindsay from 1954 to 1999 until moving to Grace Living Center in Chickasha. Peggy was a wonderful homemaker, wife, mother and aunt. She loved to knit, crochet and do needlework to give to her family and friends as gifts. She also loved country music. Peggy was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Lindsay, Oklahoma.
Survivors include five nephews, Farris Lindsey of Walters, Ronnie Lindsey of Bateville, AR, Steve Lindsey of Rush Springs, OK, Dale Linsday, and Billy Williams of Sayre, OK; four nieces, Connie Davis of Marlow, OK, Marcia Frank of Yukon, Jeannie Janesek of FL, and Emily Lindsey of VA; as well as several great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Larry Olen Pendley; two brothers, James Elvin Lindsey & Farris Aurell Lindsey; and one sister, Irma Jo Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be great nephews, Danny Lindsey, Michael Lindsey, John Lindsey, Stephen Lindsey, James Lindsey, Ricky Lindsey & Darrell Greene.
