LaVenia Ann [Henderson] Mason

COMANCHE - LaVenia Ann Mason, 66, of Sedgwick, Kan., died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2002.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Kaufman Funeral Home Chapel in Halstead with the Rev. James Bush officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche with Dow Pannell officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Dudley Funeral Home of Comanche.

Ms. Mason was born May 18, 1936, in Comanche to Lawrence Henderson and Flossie Ann Martin West.

She was a Licensed Professional Nurse at Sedgwick Healthcare Center and former owner/operator of the Kozy Kitchen cafe in Halstead.

Survivors include two sons, Greg D. Mason of Halstead and David D. Mason of Sedgwick; a daughter, Lorri A. Nold of Augusta, Kan.; a sister, Betty DeMarco of Brazoria, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Wilton, Lawrence and Edward West; and two sisters, Dorothy West and Elsie Davis.
