Mary Ellen Ryther

August 19, 1926 - June 30, 2017

Mary Ellen Ryther, of Duncan, Oklahoma, was born on August 19, 1926, in Arkansas, to Will and Ruby (Calloway) Bridgers. She passed away on June 30, 2017, at the age of 90.
Family visitation will be on Thursday, July 6, from 9:30 to 10:00 A.M., followed by funeral services at 10:00 A.M. in the Whitt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Scott, of The Lighthouse Church in Burkburnett, Texas, officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche. Arrangements are under the direction of Whitt Funeral Home.
Mary attended school in Fairland. She married Herman Zinn on September 9, 1944 in Walters. They had four children, Judy, Edward, Tim, and Tony. He preceded her in death in 1980. She later married Donald Ryther. He also preceded her in death in 2016.
She was a member of the Corum Assembly of God. She enjoyed collecting dolls and gardening.
Mary is survived by her children, Judy and spouse Mac Clough and Edward and spouse Ichin Zinn, all of Smithville, Missouri, Tim Zinn, of Duncan, and Tony and spouse Linda Zinn, of Waurika; nine grandchildren, Kerry and spouse Kevin Anderson, Keith Clough, Krista and spouse Juan Lopez, Katharyn Zinn and spouse Illya Filshtnskyi, Karl Zinn, Patricia Crane and John Brewer, Jason and spouse Cristine Zinn, Justin and spouse Cristy Zinn, and Destiny Zinn; 10 great-grandchildren, Tara Anderson, Jared Anderson, Josie Lopez, Morgan Brewer, Jaxson Brewer, Allison Zinn, Evelyn Zinn, Zander Zinn, Jaden Zinn and Casen Zinn; four sisters, Lois Ann Gilliam, Alta Ruth and spouse Harold Dunn, Carolyn and spouse Ronald Howard, and Florence Yocum; and her brother, Roy Bridgers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Ruby Bridgers; her husbands, Herman Zinn and Donald Ryther; her brothers, Joe Bridgers and Carl Bridgers; and her sisters, Maxine Lokey and Louise Johns.
