Allen Hunter Golladay Jr

75 year old , Allen Hunter Golladay, Jr., formerly of Duncan, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in Edmond, Okla. He was born in Oklahoma City on April 8, 1933 to Allen Hunter and Nita [Webster] Golladay Sr.

Mr, Golladay graduated from Classen High School and also Central State University.

Allen enlisted in the US Army during the Korean war and received a number of medals and citations.

Allen married Shirley A. Rogers in Wichita Falls, Texas, on May 21, 1964. He is survived by Shirley of the home and three daughters, Sandy Mayfield and husband Stewart of Norman, Okla., Ann Brewer and husband Stan of Dallas, Texas and Lynn Adams of Rockwall, Texas, one son, Monty Golladay of Oklahoma City, Okla.

Allen was a member of New Hope Baptist Church West.

Services will be in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel today at 11 a.m.. The Rev. Randy Southerland will be officiating.

Allen's family will receive friends tonight at the funeral home from 6:00 to 7:00.

Burial will be in the Duncan Cemetery.
