Larry Dean "Deano" Bryan

Larry Dean "Deano" Bryan, of Duncan, Oklahoma, passed from this life at Duncan Regional Hospital on June 26, 2005, after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, at the age of 54 years, 10 months, 23 days.

Funeral Services for Dean will be Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel in Duncan, with Minister Ed Hyslope officiating, assisted by Bob Bryan. Burial will be at the Duncan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Dean was born August 3, 1950 in Webbers Falls, Oklahoma to Herman and Zella Milligan Bryan.

He married Vicki Bourland on December 31, 1979 in Texas.

Dean was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ in Muskogee, Oklahoma.

After graduating from Warner High in Warner, Oklahoma in 1969, he served his country for four years in the United States Air Force.

He was a dedicated employee of Halliburton Services for 25 years.

Dean loved his wife and his family. He found great comfort and joy in spending time with his family, especially his three grandsons. He always looked forward to deer hunting with his son Bradley and his nephews.

Survivors include his wife Vicki, of the home, three sons and a daughter-in-law, Bradley and Tanya Bryan of Duncan, Ronald Bryan and Larry Bryan of Washington State, three grand-sons, Tristan, Jayden and Jaxon of Duncan, two brothers, Bob Bryan and his wife Carolyn of Pauls Valley and Billy Bryan and his wife Debra of Webbers Falls, two sisters, Shirley McGrew and her husband Jerry of Warner and Donna Hyslope and her husband Ed of Ft. Gibson and sev-eral nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Shane Hyslope, Brandon Hyslope, Tony Bryan, Matt Bryan, Shawn McGrew and Chris Jarez. Honorary Pallbearers are Doug Rather, John Aragon, Randy Richey, Doug Weber and Richard Weber.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
