21 August 2014 Fred Thomas Paul Services for Fred Thomas Paul will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Christ Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church in Healdton, Okla. Pastor Dustin Gardner officiating assisted by Pastor Joe Taylor. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery, Ringling. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday August 27, 2014, at Roberts Funeral Home in Healdton, Okla. Fred was born September 19, 1938 in Pearsall, Texas, to Fay and Louise Thomas Paul. He passed away Thursday August 21, 2014, in Oklahoma City. Fred moved to Fox, Okla., in 1949 with his parents, Fay and Louis Paul. He graduated from Fox High School in 1957. He was baptized in 1953 with his father, Fay, and brother, Bob, at the First Christian Church in Healdton, Okla. Fred married Mary Elizabeth Reynolds August 15, 1959, at the Fox First Baptist Church. They had one son, Mack Thomas Paul on September 15, 1960. Fred worked in the oil field for many years in various locations. He began as an owner-operator hauling grain in the mid 70s. All through his adult life he raised Charolais and Beef Master cattle and Doc Bar Quarter Horses. In the mid 70s he started farming and ranching full time. Fred enjoyed looking after his cattle and horses, reading about history and westerns. He also enjoyed watching war movies, westerns, and football. Survivors include his wife; Mary Elizabeth Paul of the home; son, Mack Thomas Paul and wife, Helen Annita Paul of Loco, Okla.; grandson; Zachary Thomas Paul of Loco, Okla.; sister, Mildred Louise Tuley and husband, Roger of Wynnewood, Okla.; brothers, Robert "Bob" Fay Paul and wife, Linda of Wilson, Okla., Mack Henry Paul of Wynnewood, Okla.; uncle, Fred Paul Jr. and wife, Mary of Ardmore, Okla.; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fay and Louise; brother, James Walter Paul in 1961; nephews, Jim in 2002, Cainan in 2006, and Brian Paul in 2008; sisters-in-law, Glenda Jennings Paul in 1967, Sherry Lynn Wade in 2009. Pallbearers are Patrick Paul, Henry Paul, Joshua Paul, Lane Paul, Paul Tuley, Lewis Tuley. Honorary bearers are Zachary Paul, Justin Paul, Dakota Paul, Meril Hodges.
