"Dusie Seabolt Killed By Shot In Back; George Sawney Said To Be Killer; Has Not Been Found"

Dusie Seabolt was shot in the back and killed near Salem schoolhouse Tuesday night, and witnesses examined by county officials state that George Sawney did the shooting. Sawney had not been apprehended Wednesday afternoon, and only meager particulars were available.

The shooting, according to report, was the result of a drinking party and a quarrel over one of the women at the party. Witnesses questioned Wednesday said that Sawney shot Seabolt with a shotgun.
