Cathrine P. Brown
April 8, 1964-June 21, 2009
Cathrine P. Brown, daughter of Earl and Frances Kelley Poindexter, was born on April 8th, 1964 in Vivian, Louisiana and departed this life on Sunday, June 21, 2009 at her home.
Cathrine adored all nine of her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She loved animals and was especially fond of her dogs. Listening to music was an important part of her life and brought her great joy.
Cahrine never missed a chance to be outside, wheather it was working in the yard or watching the sunset.
Cathrine is survived by her husband; Rick Brown of the home, her daugher; Amanda Scott and husband Harold of Bunch, OK, her sons; Ricky Brown Jr. and wife Tiffany Hale of Muskogee, OK, Daniel Brown and wife Amanda Gail of Tahlequah, OK, nine grandchildren; Blake Brown, Ryan Brown, Kalie Brown, Bethany Brown, Alex Brown, Ally Brown, Lee Scott, Ed Scott and Dusty Caviness, her brothers; Norman and wife Nancy Poindexter of Stilwell, Johnny and wife Betty of Stilwell, Doyle and wife Bobby Poindexter of Haynesville, LA, Lonnie and wife Linda Poindexter of Shreveport, LA, Richard and wife Eva Poindexter of Tahlequah, OK, Teddy and wife Lucy Poindexter of Drumright, OK, her sister; Jackie Poindexter, her mother and father in law; Jack and Helen Brown of Bunch, OK, her sister in laws; Brenda Matney and husband Brian of Mansfield, MO., Vickie Reeves of Stilwell, OK.
Funeral service were held on Friday, June 26, 2009 in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Ford officiating.
Interment followed at Rocky Point Cemetery in Sequoyah County under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
