Bryson Duane Slate, age 29 of Norman, OK and formerly of Vian, OK passed away Thursday, August 10th, 2017.

Bryson was born August 5th, 1988 in Norman, OK. His parents are Brian and Tracy (Bruce) Slate. Some of the things he enjoyed are spending time with his GrandBarry building projects, watching OU football and basketball, riding four-wheelers, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors. Bryson will be greatly missed by his family and friends. And as he would say, “Sleep In Rest”….RIP.

He was preceded in death by: His grandparents, Lola Kathryn Esteves and “GrandBarry” Bennington Bruce.

Bryson is survived by: His parents, Brian and Tracy Slate of Corozal, Belize; His brother, Trey Duane Slate of Gore, Ok; Sister, Tia Nicole Slate of Okla. City; 2 nieces, Brianna Nichole Jones and Isabelle Etta Rivers, both of Okla. City; Grandparents, Linda Jones-Huckaba and Phil Huckaba of Carnegie; Jerry Duane and Mendy Slate of Lexington; Several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
