Funeral services for Callie Eunice James, 87, of Gore, Oklahoma are 10:00 am Tuesday June 14. 2016, at Gum Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Officiating will be Reverend Carl Reeves. Pallbearers are Lee Pruitt, Ricky James, Bennett Smith, Michael Perryman, Robbie King, and Michael Hebb. Honorary pallbearers are John James, Tom Hebb, Tommy James Smith, Gil Keener, Jay Travis, and George Pruitt.

Interment will follow in the Gum Springs Freewill Baptist Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.

Callie Eunice James was born on July 29, 1928, to Charles and Arizona (Copeland) Risley. She left this life for Heaven on June 10, 2016. Callie worked as an insurance agent for 30 years. She owned Farmers Union Insurance in Gore with her husband Rev. Tommy James. Callie is the last remaining charter member of the Gum Springs Freewill Baptist Church where she has been a member for 57 years. She loved to sing and playe piano for the Church.

Callie is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Reverend Tommy James; a son, Chester E. James; three infant daughters; parents, Charlie and Arizona Risley; her brothers, Gene Risley and his wife Martha, Jack Risley, Silas Risley; sisters, Talitha Hart, Dorothy Hoglan, Edith Bias, Alta Horn, and Ethel Brown.

She is survived by nieces, Shelly Pruitt and husband George, and family of Gore, OK; Brenda Keener and husband Gil and family of Muskogee, OK, Linda Hebb and husband Tom also of Muskogee, OK; nephew, Jimmy Risley and wife Deanna and family of Gore, OK; and a host of other extended family members, and friends.
