David Sanders
February 13, 1939-November 9, 2008
David Sanders, son of Baxter and Bessie (Pettit) Sanders was born February 13, 1939 in Tahlequah, OK and departed this life on November 9, 2008 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 69 years, 8 months and 26 days.
Dave loved to spend time with family and friends, listen to Gospel music and tell stories about the old days.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Baxter and Bessie Sanders, sisters; Eliza Sanders and Ollie Muskrat, brothers; Lonnie Sanders, Robert Sanders, and Jack Sanders.
Dave is survived by a very loving family that includes his sister; Ella Mae Gregory and husband Merle of Stilwell, OK, 1 brother; Felix Sanders of Tahlequah, OK, a special friend; Andy Cochran, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Claude Gregory officiating.
Interment followed in the Flute Springs Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
