Agent & Mallory-Martin Funeral Home
(permission granted)

Having fought the good fight, surrounded by loved ones, "Brother" lost his battle with cancer and went to his Heavenly reward in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, August 9.

"Brother" was a Korean conflict, U.S. Army veteran, a retired Cessna Aircraft experimental sheet metal mechanic and drywall finisher whose lifelong hobbies included home remodeling and antique car restoration, but his greatest joy was spending time with and caring for his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of his life. "Brother" left a lasting impression on every life he touched and this world has never known a more caring, generous, patient, or loving soul. His passing leaves a gaping hole in the fabric of many lives and he will be missed more than mere words can describe.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jim and Vena and his four brothers; Sterling, Tom, Carl, and "Bo,"

Leaving behind his beloved wife of 62 years, Virginia; three children, Mike and (Jan Rainer) Brewer of Wichita, Teri and (Bob) Fernandez of Bellaire, Keith and (Cherie Heibert) Brewer of Mulvane, a one-of-a-kind nephew, that was for all intents and purposes a third son- Steve Long of Wichita, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted in Sallisaw, Oklahoma, his birthplace and childhood home, on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 11 am at First Assembly of God Church in Sallisaw.

Burial will be at Brushy Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
