In 1963, Lindell moved to Oklahoma City to work for the OKC Police Department. He served the city for 20 years in various roles and retired as a Lieutenant and Court Liaison in 1983. He had the highest regard for the law and always knew he would be held to a higher account. Lindell came from a family of law enforcement. His dad was a retired Chief of Police and deputy Sheriff. Both of his brothers were retired from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
Not content to stay home, Lindell went back to work as a deputy serving papers at the OK County Sheriff’s office. He was always amazed at the difference between civil and criminal law. He retired again as Major from the Sheriff’s office in 1992, this time for good! In his spare time, Lindell was a 32 Mason and belonged to the Masonic Lodge. He rode 3-wheelers with the Shriners in parades. He loved golfing and some travel, but mostly just being at home and watching the grass grow. He loved a good laugh and his little dog, Tigger. This site may be freely linked, but not duplicated in any way without consent.
