Services for Bobby Ray Kinder, 72, of Byng are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. David Gray will officiate. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Mr. Kinder died Monday, January 12, 2015 at an Ada hospital. He was born May 5, 1942 in Konawa, Oklahoma to George and Cleo King Kinder. He graduated from high school in 1960 and moved to the Ada area in 1963 from Konawa.

He married Judy Nunley on May 18, 1963 in Konawa. Mr. Kinder was a truck driver for Reagent Chemical, retiring in 2009 after 23 years of service. He also served in the Oklahoma National Guard for 16 years.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; a son, Robbie Kinder and wife Rhonda of Ada; a daughter, Debbie Kent and husband David of Knoxville, TN; his grandchildren, Cody and Brandis Winters of Tupelo, Katelyn Kent of Knoxville, TN, Ryan Kinder and fiancé, Cailee Canada of Ada and Reid Kinder of Ada; two great grandchildren, Jaeley and Jaedyn Avants of Tupelo; two sisters, Wanda Neely of Konawa and Sandra Hawkins and husband Rick of Tecumseh; a sister-in-law, Minnie Kinder of Konawa; brother-in-law, Al Nunley of Checotah; and several nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cleo Kinder, a brother, Harold Kinder; nephew, Vernon Kinder; and brother-in-law, Arlie Neely.

Bearers will be his nephew, Kelly Neely; and his former co-workers, Danny Holder, David Piercy, Jason Erickson, Mike Mitchell and Harold James.
